Taka Invest App was created to fill the gap for easy-to-use investment platforms in Bangladesh. Our goal is to change how users interact with the stock market. But we faced few challenges to reach our goal.

The Challenges

Approach
The Taka Invest App was built using the combination of the following technical stacks:
- Backend: Jango (Python Framework), Panda (Python Library)
- Frontend: React (Website), Flutter (iOS, Android)
Process Overview
- Real-Time Data Management: We had to handle a large amount of data coming from the DSE in real-time and send it directly to users’ devices. To do this efficiently, we used the Pub/Sub (publish-subscribe) method, written in Go Language. This method works by distributing data to specific nodes, so instead of every customer asking for data individually, they receive updates from the node. This keeps things efficient, without overloading the system.
- Real-Time Price Adjustment: By using in-memory time-series data, we made the price adjustment process faster and more accurate, allowing us to respond quickly to corporate events.
- Dynamic Technical Charts: We aimed to provide the best chart experience, and to make the charts fast, we needed to cache the data. The challenge was that the data query changed depending on the screen size, making it difficult to cache. While static data is easy to cache, dynamic data like this is much harder. But we found a way to handle this and ensure smooth, fast charts for all users.
- Unified Authentication: We have three different services, and out of these, we successfully brought Taka Invest and Taka Multiply under one centralized authentication server. Now, if you login to Taka Multiply using your Taka Invest login credentials. Each time you log in, a unique authentication key is issued for that specific login. This entire process is called SANOL, and it works similarly to how the Edge (AMC) directory functions.
